摘要
This study introduces a unified framework to study how individual behavior affects network formation and vice versa. The equilibrium of the underlying game is characterized by a Gibbs measure, which can be estimated by the Bayesian Double Metropolis-Hastings algorithm. The model is applied to study R&D investment and collaboration decisions in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry. This model also provides a tractable framework for a long-run key player analysis.
主讲人简介
刘晓冬，University of Colorado Boulder经济系副教授。在Ohio State University获得博士学位，师从李龙飞教授。近年来主要从事空间计量及社会网络方向的研究。在Review of Economics and Statistics，Journal of Econometrics, Econometric Theory，Journal of Applied Econometrics，Journal of Business & Economic Statistics，Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization等期刊发表论文20余篇。现任Journal of Spatial Econometrics 副编辑。
